Come out to Downingtown Borough Hall on May 31 between 3-7:30 pm (presentations at 4 & 6pm) to share your thoughts and ideas of how to improve walking and biking in the Downingtown area.
The Chesco Planning Commission and Health Department are planning an 18-month study in central Chesco to develop a bicycle and pedestrian plan for the area. The County is working with the following 7 municipalities:
- Downingtown
- East Bradford
- East Caln
- East Goshen
- West Chester
- West Goshen
- West Whiteland
The study intends to define a regional bike/pedestrian network that connects the centers of Downingtown, Exton, and West Chester. It also hopes to identify improvements to walking and bike centers in the areas and develop priorities and policy recommendations to various stakeholders.
